You asked, and you shall receive! Much of the feedback that we’ve received so far for our 2023 season has revolved around having a group sail and dock party. So, that’s what we are going to do. Please join us for our next big social event, The Commodore’s Summer Bash on July 15, 2023. This event is being sponsored by your SYC Commodore & Board, but we rely on your active participation and enthusiasm to make it a hit!
The day will begin with a hot and hearty brunch in the open grassy area at 10:00am. We will then hop on our boats and take a stroll around the lake. Upon return, we will have a traveling dock party, where everyone can roam from dock to dock visiting their fellow sailors. We encourage each boat to be inviting, offering a signature cocktail and/or snack item to share. It will be great to hang out on the docks, get to know each other better, and create visibility to the club for others that will be out enjoying the lake that day.
Your SYC Commodore/Board will be supplying the brunch, but it is only open to active members, and you MUST register here. Sorry, but registration will close 48 hours prior to the event so we can plan accordingly.
All boats to share in the after-sail festivities – we look forward to seeing what your boat will be known for.
