You are invited to the 2021 SYC 17th Annual Corn Coast Regatta on 28-29 Aug 2021.
You may have sailed the East Coast, the West Coast, the Gulf Coast or even the Central Coast – now is your chance to once again sail the Corn Coast of Central Iowa!
Saturday, August 28:
Buoy Races (3)
8:30 to 9:15 am – Registration open, Breakfast pizza, coffee & juice, T-shirt Sales at the Marina picnic area
10:00 am – Skippers meeting at the picnic area
11:25 am – First warning before start on the water. No race will start after 3:30 pm.
5:00 pm – Saturday Night Cocktail Hour at the American Legion Hall in Polk City. Cash bar will be open. This is the time to tell sailing stories of the day’s racing activities!
6:00 pm. – BBQ Dinner will be catered by Jethro’s BBQ of Johnston. (Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Baked Beans, Slaw, Corn Muffins, Buns, Brownies)

Sunday, August 29:
Distance Race
8:30 – 10:00 am – Coffee, Donuts and Bagels at the Marina picnic area
10:25 am – First warning before start on the water. No Skippers meeting. No race will start after 1:30 pm.
3:00 pm – Pizza Awards Lunch – Join us at the Marina picnic area for the announcement of the winners for buoy racing, distance racing and overall results while enjoying Casey’s pizza for lunch. Beer and beverages will be provided.

MEALS:
Please purchase meal tickets in advance using the registration link.
Meal tickets pre-ordered will be available for pickup Saturday morning at registration. Meal tickets may be purchased at the door but will cost $20 for the Saturday night dinner and $10 for the pizza lunch on Sunday.
T-SHIRTS:
We will have Unisex and Ladies sizes available for purchase. T-shirts will be on sale Saturday morning, at the Legion dinner Saturday night, and at the pizza lunch on Sunday. Cash or Check would be preferred.
